Chad Knight (born October 24, 1970, Sacramento, California, USA) is an American actor in gay pornography. He was a popular and prolific porn actor throughout the 1990s. Though predominately starring in gay films, he performed in several bisexual productions. He had befriended Jason Hunter, a "straight" gay porn star, who acknowledged he'd been doing gay features and introduced the idea to Chad Knight. He was largely absent on the scene in 1993, but returned in 1994, making 10 films. Over the next three years, Knight withdrew from the adult film industry. In 1997, he did only five films. By mid-1998, he resumed a more private life. He cited growing concern for his daughters and general fatigue from the industry. In 2004, he did a major release for Falcon, "Longshot," and then retired again. His name continues to be affiliated with a multitude of subsequent video compilation productions. ==Personal life== In high school, he described himself as shy and part of the "nerd" social group. He belonged to the chess and computer clubs in school. Though he wasn't interested in school sports, he played in the neighborhood baseball team for 8 years and ran track for 2 years in junior high. In high school, he got more into book learning. He recalled early introduction into the porn world, as his father having a lot of porn products while growing up. He and his brother would sneak into their father's stash of films and magazines in the middle of the night. Others have described him as reserved, pleasant and intelligent. While in 9th grade and 16 years old, he befriended his future wife, who was 21 years old. They became best friends, which subsequently developed into a romance and marriage in 1991. He married into a family with two toddler step-daughters. Knight said his wife "had a bit of a problem" watching him have sex with men, but was agreeable to it, as it paid well. His wife had to agree to everything before he would do a film. Her greatest concern rested with the handful of bisexual films he did, often requiring him to only engage in gay sex in such films.〔 His work led him to travel a lot for club circuit appearances, separating him from his family.
